“Adrenaline is the oldest psychedelic drug known to mankind. During the spring of 2013, I was embedded as war artist with the British Army in Afghanistan. By engaging in a hazardous situation I wanted to investigate if exposure to danger would alter my senses and produce a different response in the field of representation.”
